I feel like we have a very all-or-none attitude about love. I think there are notions of love that we as Muslims react to by believing human love is worthless or doesn't really exist. Dude. Human love does exist. Awesome, human love exists! Beautiful friendships exist. Romantic love exists. Human loyalty and courage and selflessness do exist. And these are powerful and transformative things. Why? Because the Creator made it so! There's a difference between being dependent and being grateful. Let's stop with the all-or-none, and appreciate the breathtaking beauty God has given us *in His creation*, and the love between them.
