Remember, always remember, in everything you do, that this life is not very long, and it is meant primarily as an opportunity for you to worship God and do good for God's pleasure, living in a way that pleases Him. Whenever you encounter a difficult decision, as yourself, "What course would God prefer I take?" This is how we must try to live every day. Whatever we do, even our everyday tasks like washing the dishes or going to work, making dinner or watching a YouTube video, we should make intention in our hearts to do this thing for the sake of Allah. If making such an intention for the action we are about to undertake makes us uncomfortable, if it is something that is displeasing to Allah, it may be that this action is best not undertaken.
You don't need to reject the dunya entirely, and there is nothing wrong with being happy and enjoying your time here, but just remember that you are here to serve your Creator, which is done in many ways, but must be our top priority. In the next life, with God's grace and acceptance, we will be together in paradise, and there we will experience true enjoyment better than anything in this world.

O Allah, the Ever-Living, the Self-Sustaining, guide us to the best of actions, purify our intentions, accept our good deeds, and forgive our sins, our mistakes, and our shortcomings. Protect us from punishment, and grant us entrance into Your Garden, graced with flowing streams, in the company of Your servants, O Most Merciful of the Merciful!
